The jackpot win was from December last year but I’m sure you can appreciate that the celebration will last a lot longer.
“I try to get my tickets checked in the same shop and I have always said: ‘One day this machine is going to start smoking red hot because I will have hit the big one.”
Mr. Riselli is a father of five and was a taxi driver at the time of the win. Of course, he has now retired from professional chauffering.
He said his routine was to buy 3 lines each for the Wednesday and Saturday draws.
“It’s an amazing feeling and I’m absolutely over the moon.”
Mr. Riselli like us is looking forward to seeing someone else win big on the lottery and have a life-changing moment.
“I’m not going to play the lottery any more, as I’ve already conquered that ‘big win’ – it is someone else’s turn now,” he said.
